扁平化組織|flat organization

flat 即「平坦的」。扁平化組織指的是在基層人員和決策層之間，盡量精簡中間管理（middle management）階層的組織形式，通常適用於較小型的公司。這類組織使得基層員工能參與更多決策（decision making）過程，使企業更有效率。

與 flat organization 相對的是 hierarchical organization 層級式組織；hierarchical 是「等級制的」。hierarchical organization 為較傳統的組織形態，員工處於不同等級中，由上級指導下屬，資訊則集中在公司高層。
