誠實|honest

honest 是形容詞，指「誠實的」，相反詞是 dishonest「不老實的」，名詞則是 honesty。意思相近的形容詞還有 trustworthy「值得信任的」、sincere「真誠的」、genuine「真誠的、誠懇的」。

要注意，trusting 的意思是「容易相信他人的」。另外，genuine 形容事物則是「非偽造的、真正的」，如genuin leather「真皮」。
